Juventus wing-back Kwadwo Asamoah has been named as the best left-back in the 2013/14 Italian Serie A.
The 26-year-old who is currently nursing an injury received the grand award at the 2014 Gran Gala del Calcio AIC on Monday, an event organized by the Italian Football Association to reward outstanding players in the Serie A every season.
The former Udinese midfielder put up a remarkable performance for the �old Ladies� last season helping them to retain the league title after making 34 appearances and scoring two goals.

Asamoah has been ruled out of the 2015 African Cup of Nations tournament in Equatorial Guinea after he underwent a successful knee surgery which keeps him out of action for 3-4 months.
