Defender Rahim Ayew has parted ways with Ghana Champions Asante Kotoko. Ghanasportsonline.com has learnt.
Rahim who joined Kotoko at the start of the 2013/14 Ghana Premier League season is said to have refused a contract extension after signing just one-year with the Porcupine Warriors last season.
The eldest son of legend Abedi Pele played a vital role and helped Kotoko to clinch the double last season by winning the League title and FA Cup trophy.
The 26-year-old is however reported to be holding talks with several Clubs outside the country for a possible return to play mainstream European football.
The burly lateral defender was included in coach Didi-Dramani�s squad for this year�s CAF Champions League competition.
