Ghana striker Jordan Ayew tasted defeat on his return from suspension as his team Aston Villa lost 3-1 at home to Everton in the English Premier League on Tuesday.
Ayew who was making a return from a three match-ban after his barbaric act on West Ham defender Aaron Crasswell enjoyed the entire minutes of the game but failed to find the back of the net as his side suffered another defeat at their backyard.
Ramiro Funes Mori and Aaron Lennon gave the visitors a two-goal lead after 30 minutes before Romelu Lukaku added the third.
Substitute Rudy Gestede pulled one back for Villa 11 minutes from time.
Remi Garde’s side are still battling releation as they lie bottom on the League table with just 16 points.
