The head Coach of Cape Coast Ebusua Dwarfs Football Club, Joseph Emmanuel Sarpong, says sacking has always been a part of coaching and will not be surprised if he is shown the exit by his employers.
In an interview with the GNA Sports, coach Sarpong said he would be ready to walk away if the club continued to record poor results in the two- week old premiership.
"Getting the sack is part of our job, big name coaches have been sacked before and it shouldn’t be so much of a news if I’m sacked,” he stressed.
Sarpong, however, argued that he had the strong backing of the management of the club to change the fortunes of the club and was confident the team would get things right in the coming days.
"There shouldn’t be any panic. I have the backing of management and all stakeholders of the club," he stated.
Coach Sarpong also expressed his dissatisfaction with his boys’ performance but was fully sure they had what it would take to turn things around.
Dwarfs take on Accra Hearts of Oak in a third-week encounter of the Ghana Premier League at the Cape Coast Sports Stadium on Sunday.
