Former Black Stars coach James Kwesi Appiah has been awarded coach of the year in Sudan.
Appiah, who manages Sudanese Premier League side Al Khartoum, pipped other contenders including Fawzy Al Mardy who is head coach at title winners Al Hilal Omdurman.
The former Ghana international defender demonstrated top level coaching skills during the season guiding Khartoum to fifth position on the league log.
The 56-year-old took charge of Al Khartoum in December 2014 after his appointment with the Black Stars came to an end.

A prophet is not honoured in his own country ampa. U did very well with black stars but they betrayed, disrespected and treated u very poorly, hence the deteriorating of our black stars. They owe u an unqualified apology for the painful and equally embarrassment they put u through. I've had the pleasure of meeting u and u are indeed a nice guy with a warm and a huge heart. It's a shame ur own country folks couldn't see your great works. Shine, shine, shine big bro. God lead u in all that u do and u shall surely excel. Shalom
