Several Ghanaian football fans are calling for the sack of Black Stars goalkeeper Razak Brimah over his recent rude comments.
The Cordoba CF goalkeeper has been criticized by section of football fans since joining the Black Stars team.
Brimah, after impressing in Ghana’s victory over DR Congo at the quarterfinals of the Cup of Nations, released a video hitting back at his critics in an unfortunate way by using some abusive and unpleasant words.
Using several unprintable words, the goalie berated his critics and tagged them as “fools” asking them "to go to hell".
Brimah, 29, in the video on Facebook which he has since deleted, took offence at criticisms and leveled against him for his performances at AFCON 2017 by Ghanaians and journalists.
He has however since recanted and also issued a statement on Facebook apologising for his expletive-laden tirade he directed at Ghanaians.
Despite the 28-year-old rendering an apology, supporters and football fans are calling for the Ghana Football Association to suspend the former FC Nania goalkeeper over his recent comments.
The Ghana football Association meanwhile is expected to release a statement on the issue.
Having made his way into the Black Stars team three years ago, the former Guadalajara gloves-man has shot to fame and has eventually grabbed the number one spot in the team.
He featured for the Black Stars at the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations when the team got to the finals only to lose to Ivory Coast on penalties.
The goalkeeper is currently with the Black Stars team preparing for the crucial game against Cameroon on Thursday.

Ghanaians like this too much! We did the same thing to Kwarasey, he lost his place. We did the same to KP Boateng, he does not come to play for Ghana anymore. Ghanaians are funny. Many of you are talking. Don't you know there is something called juju? This was not how Kwarasey and Razak Braimah were. Don't you suspect there is something being done to them? Look at how confusion set in the Black Stars camp at the World Cup and KP Boateng was sacked for his number 9 jersey to be given to another player. People just think beyond the obvious. If you love Ghana, you need to seek the best interest. But anyone who uses juju to make another player mistakes so he can play is destroying the team. It is better for us to investigate those than just rush to condemn our players.
Listening to this ***barred word***, I felt very humiliated that my tax money is being used to pay and feed him whilst in Gabon. What is the GFA doing? If this foolhardy had happened in some jurisdiction, this boy would have been sacked the very moment the incident happened. I don't know how I will be able to support the Black Stars again if a player is so poor in goalkeeping, yet bad mouthed continue to be part of that team. It is sad. The GFA must act now and decisively to save this Black Stars team. To tell you the truth, Razak is the poorer of all the goalkeepers we sent to the tournament.
WHEN U DECIDE TO USE A BENCH WARMER AS YOUR FIRST CHOICE, THIS WHAT U GET. IT IS THE SOUP THAT HAS BECOME COLD FOR ANY FOUL MOUTH TO TASTE.WHO IS RAZAK BRIMAH?
