The Black Stars boss says fans are being overly critical of his team.
Ghana coach Avram Grant is unhappy with his players being targeted by fans at the Africa Cup of Nations in Gabon.
The Black Stars have taken a lot of stick for unconvincing displays in recent games, with the likes of Jordan Ayew and John Boye singled out on various occasions.
Interestingly, Grant's comments coincide with heavy backlash on goalkeeper Razak Brimah, who took to social media to hit back at his critics - going as far as using the F-word.
"Every player has had criticism at one time or another. I would like that to change," Grant told the BBC.
"I don't know why they target players. I would like them to respect the players, who are giving everything. Jordan is having a great tournament.
"He gave a great assist to Asamoah Gyan against Mali and scored a great goal against DR Congo in the quarter-final.
"Also his performance statistics are great and they show he is running a lot.
"He is answering his critics on the pitch."
Brimah has been handed a fined of $2,500 by the Ghana Football Association for his outburst.
Many Ghanaians are calling for the immediate dismissal of Brimah from camp, like Sulley Muntari and Kevin-Prince Boateng, who were both expulsed from the Brazil 2014 for disrespectful offences.
The Cordoba man is, however, likely to maintain the No.1 spot when the Black Stars play Cameroon in the semi-finals of the Afcon on Thursday.

It's not your fault Avram. Thank the thieve Nyantakyi. How much are you paid as a coach? How much is our president paid? No wonder you can talk any how like a spoilt child who never saw the parents. Go to hell if you like. Ghanaians are not ***barred word*** to hate our own players if they are not misbehaving. What do you say to Razak's attitude? Can he do that where he plays? For Christ's sake these guys don't play for extra ordinary teams! How much are they paid in their clubs? yet they dare misbehave. But when they come here they think we've not seen obroni before. Give Ghanaians a break. Your mother
I think the coach spoke very well, Ghanaians should respect that and stop the insult, those people insulting, if Ghana lost the coast loose nothing it just our taxpayers money is gone for good, let help them pray for them and support them, so we win,not insulting them, Ghana Black Star go high high and higher long live Ghana.
IT'S NOT YOUR WORDS....PRAY VERY HARD FOR YOUR FAMILY NOT FOR GHANA TO LOSE. GHANAIANS LIKE CRITICIZING EVERYTHING BECOS THEY HAVE THE PLATFORM WHY....
get out of our way you lazi coach.Your competence is not at the level of been a coach for a football nation like Ghana in the first. When we win the cup it will be because we have the talent and we are a strong football nation not because of your lazi coaching. If we should stop criticising the players then we would direct the criticism to you mr lazi coach.
I pray Ghana loses tomorrow's match if that goal keeper stays in post. non sense. nkwa sia sem kwa
'As3m yi y3 ahi'. It's only in Ghana when players charge $10,000 to $15,000 to play a 90 minutes football whiles people are suffering in adverse poverty in the country. Go to UK, America, Germany and other develop countries, they serve their nations for peanuts, but Grant wants us to keep mute? I don't get it and I don't think far. Ghanians are no more interested in watching their Black Stars play. SIMPLE. Avram Grant should leave respected Ghanians alone, and concernterate to get the job well done
