Black Stars skipper Asamoah Gyan has appealed to Ghanaians to forgive goalkeeper Razak Brimah for social media comments made during the AFCON in Gabon.
Brimah has been heavily criticized for attacking Ghanaians verbally after being criticized.
In an interview, Gyan said “I will like to take this opportunity to plead for Razak Brimah, I want Ghanaians to forgive him, he admits he didn’t do the right thing and so he apologized".
“We the players also knew what he did was wrong and we spoke to him, I spoke to him myself, I believe he has regretted his actions and I will like to plead with Ghanaians to let sleeping dogs lie," he added.

Gyan is a very good and smart striker likewise Ronaldo and Messi ....but I never like his leadership in any way at all.... When Kevin and sulley misbehave at the camp of black star and they were sacked....which of them did he spoke on his behave ,no but he is he pleading on division 2 keeper behave.... Brimah I never like you and I will never like you in my life because you are not and can never be a better keeper for Ghana my beloved country .... If not because of something you won't also be in the team..... You Gyan remember when you also decided not to play for Ghana Stephen appiah and Andrew ayew have to take to you to come back and now that you are the leader of the team, you can't do your job probably but been selfish .... I expect Gyan to plead on the important key players behave(Kevin and sulley) to show some love for the senior players but here you are pleading on someone who has been beach in his club since he join it to be forgiven... Mr. Gyan you are not doing your job
