Former Ghana coach Avram Grant has blasted the Ghana Football Association, claiming that football in the country lacks direction. Grant was handed the opportunity to manage the Black Stars, but his reign can be best described as unfulfilling.
His last flop was a frustrating fourth place finish, to the dismay of 25 million Ghanaians, at the 2017 Afcon in Gabon.
Barely a month after the expiration of his contract he shared his thoughts on the team and the future.
"With these great talent at the youth level especially, they deserve a treatment in the highest level today.
"Key subject is about direction and policies and Ghana need to continue with the process that it started with.
"Germany is a typical example and in 2014 they won the World Cup because they paid much attention to policies and directions from the scratch," he added.

WHEN WILL THIS I-DI-O-T SHUT HIS B-EA-K? YOU CAM FOR HOLIDAY BUT NOT TO WORK IN GHANA
Fa officials will always blame coaches.bt will neva talk about their corrupt habit.
the man did not say Ghana football has no direction. what kind of journalism is that. twisting ple's words to sell ur us3l3ss articles. from what i read i know the man is referring to the mismanagement in our sports sector. the corruption at our football association makes us to loose focus on our direction. it is only ple with brains that will understand what the man was saying and not that dummy writer. I am not a fun of of Grant anyway. never liked him but the truth must be told.
we hired him because we don't have policy direction. did he think we hired him his quality? NO
If we have policy and direction we wouldn't have hired him in the first place.
You are just speaking FO00LISHLY. He (Avram) was an employee. If the stake holders of Ghana football are not doing what is expected of them, what did you want Avram Grant to do? Go beyond his job duties? Too many FOO0LISH people in Ghana
what did he do to change that?
