FIFA joined the long list of football lovers to praise Ghana forward Jordan Ayew for his incredible Boxing Day goal for Crystal Palace against West Ham United in the English Premier League.
The Ghana international scored the goal of the day, and arguably the goal of the season with a sumptuous individual piece of brilliance.
Ayew weaved his way through three defenders like a snake gliding through the forest before exquisitely dinking past West Ham goalkeeper Roberto.
His goal which came in the final minute set the internet ablaze with many fans applauding the Ghanaian for his dexterity.
FIFA thanked Ayew for giving World football a 'Boxing Day treat.'

No wonder. He is the real son of his father, the legend Abedi Ayew Pele. His development at C-Palace is inspiring. Initially, he was riled and ridiculed when he first joined and the goals were not coming. Give everybody a second chance.
