The Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) has reduced the life ban of former Ghana Football Association President Mr. Kwesi Nyantakyi to twelve years, Nhyira FM has reported.
Mr. Nyantakyi was been banned for life from all football-related activities by FIFA in October 2018.
The development came four months after the renowned administrator was captured in an investigative documentary engaging in corrupt and bribery activities.
Aside from being Ghana FA President at the time of the exposé, Nyantakyi was also first-vice president of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
He was also President of WAFU and a member of the prestigious FIFA Council.
Mr. Nyantakyi was also been fined $500,000 by FIFA.
