The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the media of putting out false figures of the December 7 election.
According to them, the media is in bed with the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Electoral Commission (EC).
On the other hand, the same media gives coverage to their programmes.
In an interview on Neat FM, the Member of Parliament for Ningo Prampram constituency was asked why his party lambastes the media yet they want them to cover their events.
In response, Sam George said the NDC has every right to 'call out' the media for their 'selective reportage'
He asserted that the media owe it as a duty to give their audience a balanced reportage and that if they choose not to cover their programmes, 'we will get our news and information out' all the same.
"if your media station thinks you won't come and cover the NDC, that is your editorial policy, we won't beg you to come and cover our programme; that we won't do. You have a responsibility to your listeners to show them all sides of the news and leave your listeners to make their opinion...because you have done the wrong thing and we have confronted you, you think you are above reprimand....the media is not above reprimand or reproach" he stated.
Emphasizing his comments he added: "in some instances, some media houses projected wrong results; some failed to point out the wrongs of this government during this election and you think we should keep quiet? if that is why you won't come and cover our story, fine don't come...because at the end of the day we will continue to hold everybody accountable...if we are not happy with you for some of these selective media reportage, we have every right to call you out on it and if for that reason you think you won't cove our story that's fine but we will get our news and information out"

This is the most st*p#d communication i have heard in several years. I can't think far.
The Ghana Police has released its DOGs, the MTTD onto the streets this morning to start the year with their usual extortions from motorist. Ministries Police MTTD is currntly starting extortions just by the Tema station junction. These guys are serious thi.eves especially the women amongst them. Public beware and put on your secret recording cameras on when they stop you. They are part of the reasons the NPP lost votes and am suprised somone is not paying attenion to their activities on the road. All they do is to ask for money and extort but this year, Any MTTD officer that Extorts shall die a miserable death by ***barred word*** motor accident with the stolen monies in their pockets. If the buy Food with such monies, they shall get chocked by the food. if they buy land, Land guards shall deal with them. If they build, the building shall collapse on them on the day they move in. Peace be unto all the honest Police officers, May you do well aboundantly than your opposite colleagues who are thi.e.ves.
In fact this boy needs more time to mature into what he finds himself doing. He is so infantile and lacks in intellectual sophistication in all implications. Too much of a school boy in parliament. Not a fun listening to him. Not even for a comic joke.
